Dr. Naila Farukhi
Dr. Naila Farukhi has been practicing dentistry since 2006. She obtained both her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) and her Orthodontic specialty training from the University of Southern California (USC). In 2009, she published her first children’s book on Orthodontics titled “The Wirebender,” which currently sells on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
In addition to her specialty training, Dr. Farukhi has a Masters degree from USC in Craniofacial Biology. She also has dual Bachelors of Science and Bachelors of Arts degrees in the fields of Biology and English Literature respectively from the University of California, Irvine.
She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the California Association of Orthodontists, and the Pacific Coast Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Farukhi is also a dedicated mother to two children, and enjoys volunteering with them for various school activities. She is an avid traveller and particularly enjoys cruising with her young family. In her spare moments, she is a writer and is currently working on a screenplay.
